This is a formal announcement about Rock Solid.
We have had a 10 wonderful year stint, but it is now time to say goodbye to Rock Solid as you know it. But all good things must come to an end. So, starting September 1, 2008, Rock Solid will be closing its doors.
We had asked Jtay if he would be interested in taking over as owner of the stream only, and thankfully, he has said YES. So, as of September 1, Jtay will own the stream. Rock Solid Chat will be closed for good. The Java room will continue to be there forever if he wishes.
The message board will continue to be there as well. It will be a good way for all of us to continue to share. If you don't have an account there yet, please get one so we can all keep in touch!
We wish to thank everyone, for being members of RS. You made the site what it was! You are the greatest people on earth and the best chatters on the net. And as I have said before and I will say it again.... we are a family of friends.... and that will never change...
We wish Jtay all the best for the future.
